Water Doesn’t Seem To Be Getting To My Ice Maker?
If you are still having problems with water not reaching the ice maker and making ice, the problem is likely with the water supply lines. Plumbing can sometimes be the reason why a refrigerator’s ice maker does not create an ice problem. If the water supply valve is rusted, worn, or simply blocked, this will prevent the ice machine from working. If the water supply valve has sufficient pressure and power is supplied, but the ice maker does not fill with ice making water, replace the water supply valve.
If the ice maker’s fill tube is frozen, the house water pressure may need to be higher to get water into the ice maker, or there may be dirt or a faulty water inlet valve.
